In the book of Judges, verse 6:12, the Messenger of the YahWah spoke to Gideon informing him that he is a "mighty man of valor".
The phrase "Geebor He'Chayeel" is a Hebrew phrase which means: Mighty (Powerful, Prevailer) of Value (Worth, Wealth, Force or Power). In these modern time, the title "mighty man of valor" applies to a man who possess those same qualities.
A 'Gibor-Hechayil', a Valiant Warrior', can apply to one who is valiant in a spiritual battle as well as being valiant in a physical battle. And, there is always a spiritual component to any physical battle, any physical activity, be it a conflict or simply being able to accomplish the mission as we face the challenges of everyday life.
