About Me - the site owner

Hi, My name is Sherwood Lummus.

I am a researcher and writer on holistic mind improvement, body-mind-spirit Immanence with the Almighty and wealth development. My spiritual background includes Judaism, Buddhism and Comparative religion. These days I spend much of my time studying Buddhism - practicing meditation, morality, and wisdom in order to develop spiritually and reach enlightenment.

My website, Profitincome.biz, helps people to build or improve their prosperity consciousness by reconnecting with the Immanence of the Hebraic Elohim instead of seeing a "God" separate (transcendental) to our every thought, words and deeds.

My school and work background

Schooling: After high school, I served in the military as an Army Warrant Officer. As a warrant officer, I flew (piloted helicopters). The U.S. Army, aviation warrant officers are the technical and tactical experts in rotary wing aviation, serving as primary helicopter pilots and experts in executing specific mission sets.

The responsible of an Aviation warrant officers is to pilot and command a variety of helicopters. The types include those for reconnaissance, security, rescue, air assault, and internal/external load operations. I learnt a lot of the necessary information in high school as a member of the Civil Air Patrol. Although, I only flew fix-wing aircraft in high school.

The requirements to be an Army Warrant Officer is that you must be a U.S. citizen, have a high school diploma (I earned my high school diploma) or GED, score a 110 or higher on the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) test (I scored in the top , be an E5 or above, possess a Secret security clearance, meet height and weight standards (I was almost under weight), pass the Army Combat Fitness Test (I was top physical condition due to high school fitness training), and have 12 months or more remaining on your enlistment contract.

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test measures your aptitude in four domains: verbal, math, science and technical, and spatial. My highly academic high school prepared my for that test and much more. I was a member of the Civil Air Patrol (Civil Air Patrol is a congressionally chartered, federally supported non-profit corporation that serves as the official civilian auxiliary of the United States Air Force.) I was also a member of the Explorer Scouts, The Scout Association offer programs that encourages youth to explore different interests and career paths through activities and mentorship. I was also on the track and field team, as well as the gymnastic team.

I still have a great love for aviation.

There is a sense of freedom one gets from flying a small aircraft that cannot be achieved anywhere else - General Aviation (GA) provides this freedom for a lot of pilots. My first flight training was in a Cessna 150.

Cessna, along with many other small aircraft manufacturers, including Piper, Diamond, Mooney, Cirrus Design, and Hawker Beechcraft serve the general aviation market, with a focus on private aviation and flight training. I prefer the Cessna.

General aviation includes all non-scheduled civil flying, both private and commercial. General aviation may include business flights, air charter, private aviation, flight training, ballooning, parachuting, gliding, hang gliding, aerial photography, foot-launched powered hang gliders, air ambulance, crop dusting, charter flights, traffic reporting, police air patrols, and forest firefighting.

As a pilot, you really are the captain of your own soul!

I was a member of the Civil Air Patrol in high school. Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is a Congressionally chartered, federally supported, non-profit corporation that serves as the official civilian auxiliary of the United States Air Force (USAF). CAP is a volunteer organization with an aviation-minded membership that includes people from all backgrounds, lifestyles, and occupations. I credit the CAP with my military choice and success.

After the Army

After the Army, I attended a technical college (Atlanta Area Tech) for Electronics Engineering and Technology. I worked in that field for 35 years. As an electronics technician (for USPS), I worked with computers and industrial robotics. They are programmable and can be adapted to various tasks and workflows. I worked on the programs. Electronics engineering and technology involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining electronic systems and devices, covering areas like analog, digital, and embedded systems, with applications in various fields. My mail line of work was: Digital Electronics: a focuses on discrete signals (0 and 1) and circuits, including logic gates, microprocessors, and microcontrollers. ~~ Embedded Systems: designing and implementing systems that control other devices, using microcontrollers and microprocessors. ~~ and, Robotics: the design, control, and application of robots, involving electronic systems for sensing, and actuation.

Over the years, I studied technical writing as well as Creative Non-Fiction writing. My main focus is in Spirituality and Comparative Religion. Along with a background in electronic physics, aviation physics and spiritual knowledge from many different cultures, I developed a unique view of reality and the world. This is what shape my views on the various subjects which I write about in these pages. Mainly driven by Buddhism and Hebrewism, with a strong influence from African cultures and Native American cultures.

I would be remissed if I did not mention my love for quantum physics and the art of seeking balance between science and spiritual wisdom.
