Dynamic and effective classroom management is critical to the creation of an engaged learning environment where all students exercise their full potential. With that being the case, then employing this specific classroom management is potentially setting these young people up to fail and unintentionally creating additional at risk behavior. How much more engaged learning would happen within these classrooms? How much more time would the teacher have to work with students who were struggling with a key concept? Effective classroom management for middle and high school students must include a student leadership developmental process and curriculum. If these young people cannot lead themselves first, then how can they lead or work with anyone else?
