Transhumanist thinkers preceive that eventually, human beings will be transformed into beings with such greatly expanded abilities as to merit the label "posthuman". Ultimately, the use of "new sciences" and technologies will enhance human mental and physical abilities and aptitudes, and ameliorate undesirable and unnecessary aspects of human conditions, such as stupidity, suffering, disease, aging and involuntary death.
Transhumanist
Some transhumanists report a strong sense of secular spirituality, others follow more liberal forms of Eastern philosophical traditions such as Buddhism and Yoga. Our main focus here is on the practical goals that will help to achieve longer and healthier lives and enable humans to gain greater control of altered states of consciousness, which are commonly interpreted as "spiritual experiences", and thus achieve more profound self-knowledge.

The Bible contains many accounts of long-lived humans, the oldest being Methuselah living to be 969 years old (Genesis 5:27).
Death as defined by the devil is the expiration of the body, but death as defined by God is the expiration of the mind. "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:32. However, the truth is, that death is absolute once wickedness, evil, unrighteousness or an ungodly state of mind dominates the body.
